What began as a small art fair over 44 years ago, has since grown into one of the highlights of the Fiesta San Antonio®, with an annual attendance of approximately 12,000 people. The 2-day event takes place early in the Fiesta San Antonio season on the campus of Southwest School of Art and generates funds for the School through ticket sales and sponsorships. Fiesta Arts Fair showcases the contemporary art of more than 100 artists from across the United States and features works in a variety of media, including metal, ceramics, glass, painting, photography, textures and jewelry.
In addition to art, Fiesta Arts Fair patrons have access to a wide variety of foods, ranging from traditional favorites like gorditas and roasted corn, to flavorful concoctions like chocolate covered bacon and fried Oreos®. The event also features live music by local and regional performers.
