We’re heading back to Beethoven Maennerchor on Friday, September 4th—bringing the full band for another round of South Texas honky-tonk with a side of German beer hall spirit. Mitch Webb and the Swindles bring a sharp blend of South Texas garage rock, conjunto, and honky-tonk — tight rhythms, twang, and dance-floor energy pulled straight from the borderlands and backroads of Texas. The band mixes original songs with carefully chosen covers in a lively set that feels loose in all the right ways and locked in where it counts.

The Hills Are Alive invites music lovers out to the beer garden at Roughhouse Brewing, nestled between San Marcos and Wimberley, to enjoy a family and pet friendly night of music in a comfortable atmosphere under the stars. This series features local award-winning acts from the San Marcos Music Awards plus industry veterans with residencies at Austin's Saxon Pub and more.

Arrive early to find a spot under the oaks, order food from the Roughhouse Brewing kitchen, sip on a selection of craft beer/wine/NA beverages and get ready for the show! BYO chairs and blankets welcome, as picnic tables and adirondacks are expected to fill up quickly.

Join us on Sunday, March 8 at the Rah! Rah! Room for a special all-ages fundraiser celebrating 10 years of the High Voltage Music Program (HVMP) — a San Antonio nonprofit providing free instruments and music lessons to middle and high school students in underserved communities.

The event runs 2–8 PM and features local vendors, a fully backlined stage, and performances by HVMP students alongside established local bands. After a year of rehearsing in classrooms, students will have the chance to perform on a real stage — the way it should be.
